Reshape Yourself is a healthy weight program based on the idea that people of
all sizes and shapes can improve health by adopting positive eating habits and
become more physically active.
The Reshape Yourself Program emphasizes a 3-part approach to achieving and
maintaining a healthy body that includes:
1. Choosing a sensible, balanced diet that fits individual lifestyles.
2. Engaging in regular, enjoyable physical activity.
3. Making long-term, positive behavior changes.
Studies show that there are many benefits of losing even a moderate amount of
weight. A healthy lifestyle can lower risks for heart disease, high blood
pressure and diabetes--regardless of weight status.
Join us for weekly sessions and learn about:
Goal setting, calorie needs, physical activity and strength training, fats,
healthy eating styles, portion sizes, food labels, eating out, healthy recipe
make overs, popular diets, sugar and sugar substitutes, dietary supplements.
Weigh-in is from 5:30 p.m. -6:00 p.m. each week
Class begins at 6:00-6:30
Optional Exercise will follow class sessions
The program will be held every Tuesday beginning September 9th and ending
December 16th at First Baptist Church-Highland Park at 3800 W. 18th St. in
Little Rock.
